We're a week into the MLB season...How's your team performing? The Pittsburgh Pirates and Detroit Tigers are the only ones unbeaten while the Yankees, Dodgers, and Red Sox have started off hot. The Angels have been quite the surprise starting off 4-2 with a depleted lineup. Not sure how long they can sustain that type of record but it's good to see them competing. Women's basketball dominated the airwaves in a highly anticipated night of Elite 8 basketball. I woke up this morning to ESPN as I always do but today was different. Today's focus was women's basketball. We all know how popular women's basketball became this year because of names like Caitlin Clark, Paige Bueckers, and Angel Reese but women's basketball being at the forefront was pretty cool.
Traditionally speaking, we’ve dropped instillments of The Breakdown ahead of championship matchups, aiming to lay out the current schematics of a given division and provide some insights into how things may shake out over the ensuing 8-12 months. But with flyweight champ Alexa Grasso and No. 1 contender Valentina Shevchenko coaching opposite one another on the upcoming season of The Ultimate Fighter before facing off for a third time, this felt like the perfect time to offer up a deeper look at the 125-pound weight division.
